Ed Troiano, founder of Knight Security, established Knight Training Institute (KTI) to train his employees, and security personnel throughout New York City and the tri-state area. Finding local security schools in NYC lacking, Ed’s goal is to provide the premiere private security training school including armed guard training.
Knight Training Institute offers continuing security guard training. Our goal is to ensure security staff are educated on ever-changing security threats, and that they can anticipate, notice, and react fast to any situation that arises. Our security trainers have NYPD, FDNY, and executive protection backgrounds. They are always researching the latest trends to create new curriculum and modifying existing security guard courses to reflect current changes in the industry.
